How do I restore my purchases?

Open Doodle Dave and tap the gear (Grown-ups) on the home screen, or the Comic Studio banner on the Comics tab. After the grown-ups check, tap “Restore purchase”.

Is Photo Magic free?

Yes. Photo Magic runs entirely on your device, so it’s free and unlimited. The only purchase in Doodle Dave is Comic Studio, a one-time $3.99 unlock, and your first comic is free.

How do I print or save a picture?

Open a finished picture and tap Print to send it to an AirPrint printer, or Save to Photos to keep it in your photo library. Saving only needs permission to add pictures; the app can’t see your other photos.

Why does the app ask me to tap numbers before purchases?

That’s the grown-ups-only check: it spells out three numbers in words (like “four, two, seven”) for you to tap, so kids who can’t read yet can’t buy things on their own.

Are my photos uploaded anywhere?

No. Photo Magic works entirely on your device.

Does it need iPhone Duo?

No. Doodle Dave works on iPhone and iPad. On iPhone Duo you also get the fold features: quick coloring when folded, the big studio when unfolded, and book mode when half-open.

Can I use Apple Pencil?

Yes, on iPad. You can also turn on “Pencil-only drawing” in Settings so palms and fingers don’t leave marks.
